Show and Tell

Jadyn asked if she could bring Gianna for Show and Tell last night. I thought she was kidding, but she wasn't. I asked why and she said, well...she is special to me. Aww....I will keep that in mind the next time they are fighting over who has more bubbles near them during a bath. haha
She got to bring her in today and Maddy yesterday. Being Star Student has its perks...:)

Success!

We got the girls to the concert and to their seats before they knew we were at a concert. They had sooo much fun! We had seats in the 4th row, so we could see everything perfectly. Jadyn could barely look at Selena since she was so happy. Jadyn said it was the best day ever. :) It was a great night!

Surprise

We are surprising the girls tonight with a Selena Gomez and others concert....Jadyn will be so excited! Gianna will be too, but Jadyn knows all the words to her songs. Photos soon! :)

Every Moment....

UPDATE: Thank you to everyone who sent well wishes and prayers for my gma. :) She is still in the hospital, but doing ok. It will be a few months before we know the extent of the damage done from the brain bleed. So thankful she is still here though! :)
I know everyone hears to enjoy every moment you have with family and luckily we have been able to spend weekly visits and daily talks with Gee Gee. Her 80th surprise party was last night, but when my parents went to get her, she was on the floor in her bathroom. I had talked with her in the morning. She sounded happy. They talked to her 40 minutes before getting to her...she was going to fix her hair before going to "dinner" with us...really the surprise party. She had another massive stroke, but made it through surgery last night. She couldn't talk before going in, but could squeeze our hands...she had all but 3 out of 10 grandkids with her. I am thankful for every moment even if it means she will now live in a care home or have more limitations. Every day is a gift. Hug your kids, parents, and grandparents if you are lucky enough to still have them. Love my grandma and girls' Gee Gee so much! xo

Busy....

So many fun things have been happening around here, Jady lost her 7th tooth....tooth fairy almost forgot to bring money, but she made it just in time after Jadyn said she didn't come during the night...she brought $20 to make up for it. She must have remembered that Jadyn is not fond of little fairies creeping around her room at night. :)
Gianna love school...for her Dad book she answered the following questions:

2. Age- Do not remember
3. What does Dad like to ear/drink-he loves iced tea and I just see him eat what I eat.
4. What does dad like to do at home? I see him laying on my mom's bed.
5. What does he do at work? He talks
6. What does he watch on TV? Baseball
7. What does he tell you? Go to sleep....lol! Funny girl!

We have had lots of girl scout outings, fun times with friends, parties and sleep overs. Sad to say that November will be so busy that I will see you all in Dec...maybe! ;)

Dad's Night

Gianna got to go with David to Dad's night at her Preschool....so cute! She had so much fun having a "date" night with him.

Halloween

We are ready! Gianna is Lagoona and Jadyn is Franki Stein from Monster High.

Jadyn has been obsessed with the dolls and website for a couple years, so it was fun when Gianna wanted to be a character too. I was so suprised when she gave up being a puppy to be Lagoona. :)

Gianna

Gianna loves her Pre-K teacher. She is amazing with the kids and I love how funny she is. She told a story to the class about the rain making her hair all frizzy and now when it looks the least bit cloudy, Gianna worries for her teacher's hair. So funny! Cannot believe she will be off to Kinder next year!

Friday Assembly

Every Friday Jadyn's school has a pride assembly...it is fun to see all of the kids. She is lucky to have so many great friends!

Pirate Day

Pre-K

My little is now big :) Today was her first day. She cried a tiny bit when I left, but had a great day and cannot wait to go back!
Her preschool is amazing, she has the best teacher and her best friend is in her class. Hurray!

Prescott Fun!

Yesterday we headed out of town to escape some of these heat and to hang out with our friends, the Morgans, who have girls our girls same age. Today we headed to the square in Prescott before coming back to the 20 degree hotter weather. It was so much fun eating all the art fair food and shopping. Gianna's favorite spot to take photos is there, so we had to stop and take some photos. My girls used to fit in this little cove, now Jadyn is too tall to fit...haha. Love these kiddos!

Pre-k

Gianna had meet the teacher today. She starts Pre-k next week...so excited for her. She has an amazing teacher.

First Day of School!

Jadyn woke up sooo excited today! She loves school and all of the great friends she has there.
I left her in line crying... never has she cried on the first day of school...broke my heart. I hope she can make it through today with a happy face. Is it summer yet? lol

Gianna is 4!

My baby is 4! She had such a fun carnival party yesterday...they played games inside and I painted their faces (Gianna asked to be a golden retriever...um, not sure I nailed that one, but she loved it!) and then we headed outside for a couple more games before swimming. If there was a baby pig to pet, it would have been a perfect party, but I was afraid the farm would melt if we had them in this gross heat.
Today she wanted to eat coconut flour pancakes for breakfast, Paradise for lunch, watch the Smurf movie, eat dinner at Red Robin and then go to the pet store where we got another hamster! Not intended, we just needed food for the pets. It is the cutest little baby hamster I have ever seen though...photos soon. It was too late when we got home. I think Gianna has named her Star. We had to get another cage because adult hamsters cannot be housed together...learned that the hard way as a kid. :(
I am amazed at how grown up Gianna is. Does not seem possible she can be 4 and heading to Kindergarten next year.
Facts about Gianna...
She is still puppy obessed. We have even been scoping cheap land to buy for her to build a rescue on later...or maybe a vet clinic...lol.
She is very independent and a leader.
She loves her big sister
Maddy is her favorite dog
Blue is her favorite color most days, but sometimes purple too.
She is shy to warm up to people, but once she does...she is a great buddy.
Her best friend is Tobi and they will have the same pre-school class. Yay!
She can read small beginner books and it freaks me out!
She loves all kinds of books and would let you read to her for hours.
She loves clothing and even asked for specific dresses for her birthday.
He memory is amazing and I find myself asking her where things are in the house or where we parked...haha.

Gianna

I am not sure I ever posted Gianna and her short hair! In May she decided to cut it and donate it to the animals like Jadyn. She is such a sweetie :) It has grown a bit now, but she loves it.
One month and my "baby" will be 4! I cannot believe it!

Happy 4th of July!

Hope everyone had a great 4th of July! We were in Prescott with some great friends...I love the Pioneer park fireworks and all day fun. I did not take any photos of the kids...bad mommy...lol. ;)

San Diego

I just found some photos from my point and shoot. Love the little camera...the only down fall is I forget to look at the photos or share since it stays in my purse. Here are a few photos from our trip to San Diego...miss that place! :)

Winner!

Ok, I rarely win anything, but today I won this lovely set of cleaning supplies from Trader Joe's. I have been putting my name on these tickets for bringing my own bags when shopping there, but didn't know what for. Well, when your name is drawn, you come in and spin a wheel. The manager wanted me to get a $25 or $20 gift card and it was sooo close, but it was cleaning stuff today. I love it anyway and the girls thought it was so cool. :)

San Diego

Last week we were in San Diego. Every time we are there, we think how we can stay forever. The job thing would be tricky, but other than that, we would be fine...lol. :)
The weather was perfect....beach, Seaworld, dining with Shamu, hanging with friends and visiting with family...cannot wait to go back!!

Busy....

Been crazy around here...lots of fun means less blog time. ;)
We were just in Prescott and our Girl Scout Troop came up for the day...so fun!
We hung in the clubhouse (40 of us!) Squeezed back to our place for a bit to have lunch, scavanger hunt, swimming and a fun night with the ones that could stay the night. The weather was perfect and we cannot wait to go back. San Diego is next on our list and I am so excited to have some down time. It has been crazy since school ended and I am ready for the beach! I will try to post photos of all the fun soon!

Fun times!

The girls had the best time at Gianna's preschool Round Up! She is really excited to go there next year...Carter's farm happened to be there and "lily" the baby pig was her favorite. We seriously almost bought her until they said no free feeding the pig....how could we ever vacation? She is soo cute! She loved all over Gianna, nursing her fingers, rubbing on her hands and sleeping in her lap...heaven for G!
Jadyn loved the chickens....um, no on that one! haha
We are slowly building a small farm....lol.

Bad Lulu!

The hampster decided to make a nice pile of bedding, move the house on top, stand on the house, lift the cage lid and escape! We didn't see her for a whole day, then saw lots of pink insulation coming out of the cupboard in the girl's bathroom. Tried to lure her out....nothing worked. She buried deeper in the wall, so after 2 days David had to cut into the wall to find her. Nice...she is a bad Lulu hamster.
Off to buy a taller cage! ;)

Vegas!!

A quick trip to Vegas was just what we needed last weekend and the Easter Bunny even showed up Easter Morning! The girls had so much fun (ok, big kids had fun too!) and we are already planning our trip back this summer to do the things we didn't have time for ;)
