Prescott fun

We were able to head to Prescott for a night stay to see some snow. It was so pretty and the girls had tons of fun. It really started to snow today, but we were afraid of getting stuck, so we came home. I can't wait to go back! :)

Fun stuff!

We have been having lots of fun around here. Gianna's basketball is coming down to the last couple games. Gianna thinks she wants to keep playing...we will see ;) Her coach is great, so hoping we can keep him! I will have photos of Jadyn and her performing dance group soon. She tried out at the beginning of the month and was one of 12 that made the team. So proud of her. Her teacher said she took it so serious and scored very high. It was cute:) They will preform at the pre-show April 15th at for the Suns game. Should be fun! I love being a mom taxi :)

15 years!

Shooot....how has 15 years gone by? Love this guy more every year. Good thing I wrote him a note today since he still never looks at my neglected blog. ;) I am lucky to have such an amazing husband...love you David! xo

Halloween!

We had a busy day! I helped at Gianna's Fall Party and face painted. In the afternoon, I was putting together Jadyn's class party...I was in charge of photo booth...so cute! That night, the girls had so much fun with friends trick-or treating. We are only keeping a little and sending the rest on to our troops. Jadyn was Spectra (a ghost's daughter from Monster High) and Gianna was Rebecca Bon Bon (A French bulldog and Hello Kitty's best friend) I had to make her costume this year...haha. It was actually fun. Hope everyone had a great night!!

Maddy

Crazy dog loves to dress up...we have her entered in two pet costume contests. She is a funny dog!

Family photos

We had family photos taken in August...it is September and I am finally going through them. How did it jump to the middle of September already? I am in need of the beach and that is no where in sight until maybe January. Boo. Anyway, here are a few of my favorites. I would love to bottle these girls being little. I am soaking up every second. Love my family!

Prescott

Love it here...wish we could make more trips here. We are trying to make more time on weekends with less running around. Saying no to more b-day parties...if we went to every one...there would be one or two per weekend! Life gets so busy during the school year. :(

Dancing Queen

Gianna decided that since Basketball doesn't start until October, she will take a tap/ballet combo class with her best friend. She actually does pretty good for a girl that thought dance was not for her. At her 5 year well check she was 100% for height and the Dr. asked was activities she was in since she had great muscle tone. I said none, but that she was starting dance and basketball. The Dr. told her those were great choices. :) It was cute to see her smile about that. My sassy girl is growing up fast! Love her and her sassy ways.

Star Student!

Gianna was so excited to be Star Student today! The class got to ask her questions and she answered her favorite animal is a dog, she likes birthday cake and the piano for an instrument. She wore this hat to dinner, yogurt and the movies!! She loves school. So happy to have another kiddo that loves to learn! :)

First day....

Went great! Jadyn was so happy after school. We knew she was getting the best 3rd grade teacher, but she is even more amazing than we thought! Gianna loves her teacher too and could not stop talking about the fun stuff they did today. Best 1st day ever! :)

Back to school

My girls have made it through meet the teacher and are ready for back to school! Jadyn has the best 3rd grade teacher....she is so excited! Gianna has morning Kindergarten with another great teacher. It is a short day for her....8:15am to 10:55am. I am sad summer is already over, but it will be a wonderful year! :)

5!

Yesterday Gianna turned 5! It is surreal that she is already that old. We started the day with breakfast at Ihop...she had never eaten there, but ate a whole Belgium waffle! haha We spent the whole day doing whatever she wanted and then dinner at Red Robin....(healthy food day! haha) We had cake with friends and family that completed her special day. Last weekend we spent the day celebrating with a party at Wet n Wild...she had so much fun! I cannot believe in June she was only 47 inches and by July she was 48 inches! She got a green wrist band and could ride anything at the park. I am in awe at how much she has changed over this last year. She is excited about Kindergarten, loves to read, draw, math, puppies, swimming and soon will be playing basketball!! Love my Yanni girl :)

July 23rd

6 months to the day after my Grandma Archer passed away, my dad's mom (Grandma-ma) passed away as well. Sad day when you do not have anymore grandmas. :( She lived in Ohio, so I didn't get to see her often. We luckily were able to get the girls out to see her a couple years ago. I will miss her warm hugs, homemade cards, and funny songs. She was a sweet, loving lady and will be so missed. RIP Grandma-ma! xoxo

Summer!

I love summer time. Hope this one drags on and on....not ready to have a 3rd grader and kindergarten. xo

San Diego

San Diego was so much fun this last week. We went to Sea World...lots! Hung out with friends, hit the farmer's market, ate ice cream everyday, played on the beach, went to Disneyland for 2 days and then came back to enjoy SD some more. 10 days of living it up! Back to reality, but I will have some fun photos to post soon as I finish unpacking...lol! :) Here is one photo that this nice guy offered to take for us. He works at Costco, but takes photos too on the side and it was so sweet he offered to take our family photo when he saw me chasing the girls around. Thank you Dave from San Diego!! :)

School's Out for Summer!

So excited summer is here!! Yesterday was a happy/sad day all rolled in to one. Jadyn's teacher is moving to San Diego for one year, so all week Jadyn has been teary. Yesterday, it looked like a funeral afterschool. About 15 of the girls in Jadyn's class were huddled around the teacher just bawling. It was so sad. Good news is since we will be in SD in June, we hope to see her there. She was the most amazing teacher ever!! Hope everyone survived the last day of school. We are ready for playdates!! :)

May

Well, May has come and is 1/2 over already! This year is going sooo fast. Gianna had an ice cream social....so much fun. She really still wants a pig. Trying to think how we can make that happen. We have too many pets right now...lol.

Jadyn had her Bugz play too! She was the Monarch Butterfly...she did so well. All the kids did....it was an amazing play!

We survived teacher appreciation week...I was in charge of Coffee day and Candy day. The teachers loved it. Next year I think I will just take care of one day though.

Finally...Mother's day was a nice day. Brunch at our house with our moms and then swimming with my girls and the dogs through the afternoon. :) No photos since if I do not take the photos, there are none to share...haha. Only a couple more weeks to finish out Girl Scout meetings, class DVDs, class water days and the last days of school. I am sad to see this year come to an end. It has been so much fun, but we are ready for all the fun we have planned this summer too! Hope everyone had a great Mother's day! xo
