7!

I am still getting used to saying she is 7! She asked me today if I wished she could be 5 again. She tells me that time is flying by too fast...um, I agree!
I have been too busy to take her 7 year photo....I just need to plan a day soon. I took this one real fast so we could make thank you cards. :)
She is still talking about her birthday! She already is planning next year...lol.
Love this girl!
Loves: Monster High, animals, reading, friends and family, tea parties, and helping others. She will be my girl to volunteer to help any way she can. :)
Dislikes: Bossy friends, girl drama, & mushrooms (about the only food she dislikes)
She is scary good at reading and has not missed a spelling word yet this year. She is good at all other subjects too, but really has a love for reading.
She is one creative, sweet, smart girl and I hope that never changes. I love she is the one that stands up for her friends, plays with the boys if the girls get catty and follows her own ideas and dreams. Love you Jady-Bug!!! xoxo

100 days of school!

Jadyn's b-day

So Jadyn's birthday was a crazy day...she wanted to invite everyone she knows, but we narrowed it down to about 35 kiddos. David is still recovering from last year and 30 kids in the house, so we took it to Peter Piper Pizza this time!
I have to say it was a tad nuts in there, but Jadyn had so much fun! After we had lots of pizza, soda, cupcakes and icecream...we headed home with 3 of Jadyn's friends to have part 2 of the party. i Carly style webcasts, dancing, singing, eating, i carly BINGO, more eating and lots of screaming! haha. I finally got the girls to bed around 11:30 after lots of talking, story reading, more talking, jumping on beds, investigating why Jadyn's ceramic piggy bank busted on the floor of her closet (not the girls fault), untangled earrings, moved girls around Jadyn's room for optimal sleeping, threatened to move them all to separate rooms and then...silence! Until Jadyn came out at midnight whispering...I can't sleep! LOL Well, she finally did sleep and they were awake and hungry at 7am. Belgium waffles, with whipped cream and strawberries were the request off the party menu (birthdays and sick days are the only times I will play short order cook). They decorated mosaic pictures while I cooked (for about 5 minutes of the time I cooked) and then played with their flashlights from their BINGO winnings while I hurried to cook. I broke down and turned on a movie to finish the last 10 minutes of cooking and they seemed to like their breakfast. They told me all about what their favorite things their parents cook are...so cute!
After that they wanted to have a Kool-aid stand on the most windy day that I can remember. They yelled ...Kool-aid...25 cents for about 10 minutes until the neighbors couldn't take the yelling across the street any longer and bought 2 cups! Success! Luckily one mom came to get a couple girls soon after and they sold 2 more cups meaning they all earned a quarter and we could get ourselves out of the freezing wind. Hurray!
In all, Jadyn has the best groups of friends and so do we. (Some even show up on their own kid's b-day)xo
We are truly blessed to have so many great people in our lives and Jadyn said that every one of her birthdays are always so fun that she can't ever choose which would be the best. :)

One more

One more full day and my girl turns 7! I am having a hard time wrapping my brain around this and my heart! It does not seem like it could have been 7 years that she has been in our lives, although I can't imagine my life without her. She really amazes me everyday. I have been so busy that today was the first day that it hit me how grown up 7 seems. :)
She is so excited for the next couple days....I hope to at least get one or two photos of her on Sat. More to come... xoxo Love this sweet girl!

Girl Scout Cookies

Thankfully I have great friends because has almost met her goal for selling cookies. She is so overly excited about selling them! She wanted to go around the neighborhood, email everyone we know and even asked that I post on facebook that she is selling cookies. :)
The sale goes on until March, but the pre-sale ends Jan. 30th. We plan to donate cases to Hugs for Soldiers and a Navy ship out of San Diego too. They are pretty excited that cookies are coming thier way :)
Love that part of girl scouts! Thank you to everyone for supporting her!

Cheer class

Jadyn went back to cheer class today. I can't say I missed it over the 2 week break. She loves it though and takes it pretty serious :) Love her little face!

Happy New Year!

I missed posting yesterday...birthday party, photo shoot, dinner with family, and lots of playing in between. I had a couple friends doing a 365 and I thought about it for a second, but then realized there is no way I could ever keep up :)
I will try to post every week though...52 sounds so much easier!
