School Father/Daughter Dance

Jadyn got the attend the Father/Daughter Dance at school this time. Since I was helping the PTSA, Gianna got to come along. She was not too excited at first, but had fun running around with the other girls. She is bigger than a lot of the 1st graders there, so she blended right in...haha. I had someone ask if Jadyn was a 4th grader. Umm...no, please do not rush it! Looking at these photos does show me how tall and grown up she has become. She is so mature beyond her years. Both girls are. I am so lucky to have them as my daughters!! :)

I am....

Missing some type of normalcy in my life(whatever that is..ha!). This was the first week in months that has felt almost normal. I took Jadyn out of dance this year at first since she had the not so nice teacher and then never put her back in with all the craziness and family not doing well. I sign her back up next week.
Gianna is going to play soccer...until she turns 5 and can play basketball. My cousin is pretty excited about that! :)

I am slowly finding how to get back to life and enjoying every second since this year has really flown by. I will be registering my "baby" for kinder next month. They have grown too fast. I thought I may want a baby (for 30 seconds) to fill the pain of my kids growing up too fast, but Gianna gave it to me straight. I told her she was getting too big and I needed a baby to hold again. She said, "you know that kid will just grow up too right, mom? " Love her.
I am also looking forward to this summer so I can see my girlfriends and their cuties again...I miss you ladies! Playdates will be a must!
Ok, back to planning girl scout lessons...:)
