We are so ready for summer!! Gianna will loop up with her 1st grade teacher to 2nd which is wonderful. They do so much in her class from cooking to painting to writing stories. She just pulled her 2nd top tooth. First one she pulled using a weight tied to her tooth. This time she tied it to the dog collar. She has no fear. Right now she wants to be a vet and still have a dog farm when she grows up.
Jadyn's teacher is also moving up to 5th grade with the kids, but she will just teach math. There will be 4 teachers they rotate around to. Should be fun for her to have a different teacher for each subject. She wants to be a teacher when she grows up.
They have grown so much that some days when they came out in the morning I swore they looked older. So proud of their big hearts, staying true to who they are and love of learning.
Jadyn was one of four 4th graders that had straight A's all year. She felt happy when the principal had lunch with them and wrote her a note. She is an amazing principal and very hands on.
Gianna had all E's and actually is now better at math than me. Lucky David will be there to help her since most days I have no idea...haha.
Jadyn has decided to take band next year and will do percussion. She wanted to play bass, but the teacher said it is really heavy lugging an amp and bass around all the time. We will see how this goes. She is excited to take piano this summer to get her reading music. Gianna is taking lessons too. They both love it. We will have a break from Girl Scouts, dance and gymnastics which will be great ;)
So excited school is out!!
