Two!!

My baby is 2 today. I was a little sad working up to today, but I was actually happy for her birthday. It made me think back to my delivery, my fat little baby, and now my active 2 year old. I love this age. She can be a little crazy sometimes, but she is one of the funniest kids. She understands things she shouldn't at this age and her little jokes make me laugh. Although she is slow to warm up to people, she will talk your ear off if she likes you a lot. She loves her big sis and tries to be older than she is to keep up with Jady. She has a big heart and has been a great nurse to Minnie. :) I don't know how I got so lucky to have 2 sweet girls, but I am so thankful! Today Gianna was playing with Jadyn's boots in her skirt...no shirt of course, but I had to take some photos while she tried so hard to get these boots on....lol. Happy Birthday G!

Minners

Our pup is doing good...too good actually. She is supposed to be resting in a confined area, but gets upset being trapped. She wants to run, play and explore! Well, Minners until you get those stitches out you only get short times to explore outside. :) Here is our baby dog with her shaved back and row of stitches that come out the 17th...Jadyn's 1st day of school!

Update: Minnie is home and walking a bit already! :) She should be fine!
Minnie is in emergency surgery tonight for her back...we have no idea what happened or if she will walk again. (We hope she will!) She just started dragging her back legs today...say a prayer for Minnie for us. She has to be ok!!

The girlies

Gianna doesn't like when Jadyn gets too close for photos, so I decided to try bribery...haha. I said Gianna ...stand up and hug your sister and I will give you a surprise. She replies...what is it? ....over and over. The bribe didn't work. She wanted to know how good the surprise was first.

Gianna has grown so tall she nows is wearing 3T...such a big girl. :) Her head is over the counter tops now. Just a few weeks ago she could still fit under there.

So happy alone in photos :) She loves making up poses...all I do is snap away.

Jadyn will be 5 and a half tomorrow! My big girl wears mostly size 7 now, reads pretty well (sight words and sounding out), & loves to write us little notes...the last one was when we were driving. She says mom, here read this note. I reply I can't I am driving. She says I will read it to you... "WEEEEEE! Mom, you drive fast! Love, Jadyn " lol I slowed down after that one, but I laughed so hard.

She is so grown up...wants to help with chores, loves to cook, reads to Gianna, and has kept Hampy alive so far!

I am going to miss her happy face when she is away at school all day. Can you tell I am having an issue with this! haha

My heart!

21 days until Gianna is 2 and only 1 month until Jadyn is in real school (thanks Christina for pointing this out today ) haha. My heart hurts...my kids are growing too fast!

23 months!

Gianna is 23 months...less than a month til she is 2!! Her big question every day is if her drink is old or fresh so she knows if it is safe to drink. The other day Jadyn told me I was too old to drive and G said "Mommy is not old! She is fresh". :) She is a funny girl. She amazes us with all the things she knows and remembers. She has a great memory...another thing she gets from her daddy. She can count to 14 and knows her colors (pink and orange are her favs). We are excited she is such a cool kid, but it is hard to watch our baby get so big!!

4th of July!

Jadyn and the oh so lovely visor and sunglasses she decorated at Pioneer Park in Prescott. It was a great place for the kids to be all day until the firework show.
