Day 4

The smile faded today, but still had to post the grumpy photo...lol. Jadyn officially is not a fan of waking up so early. I can't blame her...I am not a morning person either. She was a little mad this morning, so I am hoping tomorrow is better since she was in bed by 8:15 tonight. (Gianna was too!) Finally!

Day 3

Still smiling even though she told me she is not getting enough sleep. lol I tried to put her to bed early last night, but I could still hear her singing in her bed at almost 9. We will try again tonight...my goal is to have her asleep by 8, but not sure that will happen. :)

Day 2

Goofy smile telling me to hurry so she is not late for school :) She was excited again today. I thought she would be more exhausted yesterday, but she was amped up. She couldn't wait to play with Gianna and of course eat. She is ready for a great day 2!

Jady Bug's Day

She had a great day...she came home a little hungry...ate 2 bags of chips, some fruit, a lollipop and a go-gurt..haha.

Overall, the day was great and she is ready for tomorrow :)

First day of school!

Jadyn wanted her alarm set for 7am so she could be to school by 8...she got her self up and dressed and out of her room by 7:01...lol. She was a little excited for the first day of school. :) I wasn't even sad today...just proud that she was so excited and more than ready for Kindergarten. I forgot how easy 1 kid is...Gianna slept in until 9 (David had to stay behind with her) and now the house is very quiet. I am excited to see how Jadyn's day went at 2:55 when we pick her up. Off to story time with G...I hope she likes just hanging out with me for now on ;)

Hormones!

Ok, so I took G to the Dr. and after lunch I told the girls no cleaning, no emailing, no anything, just us playing today and doing what they want. (I have this moment because I have been banned from the playroom while they set up a special tea party for me, I have the wrist band made by jadyn to allow entry only after they call my name...very elite tea room I guess)
So, I have been super emotional the last two days thinking of all the lasts before jadyn starts school...last playdate with brody and wyatt where jadyn will be there in the afternoons, last storytime at the library with our friends, last time jadyn got to watch gianna at play class and help with parachute at the end of class, last random trip to the pets store just because, last time we take gee gee to lunch all together and so many other things we do all toegther during the week. I know we will have weekends and evenings with jady and gianna and I can still do all our stuff, but it just won't be the same! I am blaming this verge of tears all day on hormones. I keep thinking how is it possible that 5 and a half years have passed by so quickly since I walked away from DVHS and never looked back (ok maybe once or twice I waved at the school when driving to my grandma's house) I feel so lucky to have had all this time with my girl, but it still doesn't seem long enough. I am happy to be getting a chance to be with G alone and have special time with her, but I am not sure she will want just me here. haha I just hope I can hold it together on monday! Well, my name is being called...off to the last tea party...LOL. :)

Stats

More photos to come later, but G had her well check today, so here are the stats...36.5 inches (96%) and 32.3 pounds (96%). She was not happy about the 3 shots today...she told the nurse, "you poked my leg and that hurt!" Then she told the nurse she didn't like bandaids either. The nurse said "they made your legs all better"...Gianna replies "no it didn't my leg still hurts." Nice.
Didn't know what to say to that one. :)
