Boo!

The girls are so obsessed with this little plush dog, Boo, who is modeled after a real dog named Boo. It is really cute, but it goes everywhere with Gianna. I am taking a sculpture class and plan to make the girls a shrine for Boo! Haha. Love my sweet girls...both are growing up so fast. Gianna has become a very good reader like her big sister. They are such fun ages and I love how they are always trying to figure things out. So much fun to hang out with them. In January, when Jadyn turned 9, we took her out for a half day and headed to Windsor to eat and have Churn after. They love that place! I cannot believe I missed posting about Jadyn's birthday. She had a party at Great Skate...more about that later. We also got another hamster, Noel. Geesh! I think there is so much I have missed over the last few months. I will try to catch up soon!

February!

I cannot believe it is already February! Jadyn had a Father/Daughter dance for girl scouts on Friday night. It was a masquerade ball...so cute! We went to World Thinking Day this morning in Anthem. It was a fun event. We left a bit early to head to Scottsdale so Jadyn could be in a Street Fair fashion show for Dillards. So cute. She got to wear three outfits. It was really cold out, but she hung in there and smiled. She was so sick all last week so I am just happy she is finally better. We are excited for a trip to California soon. Ready for some family, friend, beach and theme park time! I think we all need to relax a little. :)

Sledding

Couple weekends ago we were able to go sledding in Flagstaff and rent a house with 3 other families. We had so much fun and it was perfect sledding weather. Much better than the icy snow in Prescott. We will not be going back to Prescott until it warms up. The freeze busted a main pipe, so we have to wait for it to defrost before fixing it. Fun times for sure! :)

Puffy

Puffy has grown to be such a big dragon. He is pretty cute and comes when I call him. Strange pet that takes a bit of care, but he is a good boy.

Back to School

I am taking two in person art classes this semester. One is with a teacher I had 14 years ago back at Grand Canyon. So great and weird at the same time to be back learning from her. She is exactly the same. I found my sketchbook that I was given at graduation from instructors. Such a nice gift and it being put to use again. The girls have been very helpful with helping me shop at thrift stores for pieces to make art from and giving me their very best critique of my ideas. It is funny that they actually get what I am talking about. Ha! In May I will take 2 more classes online so I can renew my teaching certificates. I have a hard time letting those go after all the work it took to get them. Back to school for me! :)

Prescott fun

We were able to head to Prescott for a night stay to see some snow. It was so pretty and the girls had tons of fun. It really started to snow today, but we were afraid of getting stuck, so we came home. I can't wait to go back! :)

Fun stuff!

We have been having lots of fun around here. Gianna's basketball is coming down to the last couple games. Gianna thinks she wants to keep playing...we will see ;) Her coach is great, so hoping we can keep him! I will have photos of Jadyn and her performing dance group soon. She tried out at the beginning of the month and was one of 12 that made the team. So proud of her. Her teacher said she took it so serious and scored very high. It was cute:) They will preform at the pre-show April 15th at for the Suns game. Should be fun! I love being a mom taxi :)
